A copy of a St. Albert land survey produced in Edmonton, 1887. The copy is on beige paper with black print shows various street and lots in the town and a segment of the Sturgeon River. The plan has been signed and notarized on October 3, 1887.

Fourth edition (corrected). Shows river lots and township system, part of HBC reserve. The information for this plan was compiled from official surveys dated 1882, 1883, 1885 and 1893. The plan was approved and confirmed by the Surveyor General. Gordon Sanders (1917-1993) is the father of St. Albert alderman Margaret Plain.
Map of Alberta likely a land grant map as the lower portion is divided into quarter sections. Dates between April and November, 1905, determined by proposed route for Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad, a northern route which was officially abandoned November 1905. Province of Alberta created April 1905. Large, backed with a cotton (?) weave. Top surface is heavy parchment. Wood pole at top with brass ring for hanging.
