File consists of photographs of a farmstead area during the winter season with hoar frost on nearby trees. The farmstead is enclosed by a wire fence. The photographs centre in on the main farmhouse. One of the prints was submitted to the 1980 Professional Photographers of Canada print show, with the title "Alberta Winter". Another print was submitted to the 1980 American Professional Photographers Association print show, which also has the submission ribbon attached.
