This photograph depicts the Bellerive family. From left to right: Alberine Eudore (6 yrs), Phileas (13 yrs), Joseph with Emelia, Adelia (11 yrs), and Marie holding Albert. "I was then 8 years old, your mother was 11 years. She was a big girl from her age to the right, Adelia. Then papa with Aunt Emilia, 5 years. Mama and Albert, 14 months, Uncle Phileas, 13 years, Eudore, 6 years. I hope you will like this picture. If you have one please return to back to me as I would give it to [Phireliase] family. Sister Marie Emile had these pictures [unintelligible] after she died. The nun gave them to Tony for me when he went to the general in Nicolet."
