Depicts the cast and crew of the television show "Good Times at the Rainbow Bar and Grill" that was filmed at the Bruin Inn, which served as the setting of the titular bar. Produced by Michael Lebowitz and written by Philip Savath. Members of the cast included Kenneth Brown and Edmontonian Susan Sneath.
Photograph depicts Queen Elizabeth Bowes- Lyon, the Queen Mother, on the bridge of the Canadian Pacific ship, Princess Marguerite, in May 1939, on the occasion of the royal visit to Canada. Photograph taken just outside Vancouver Harbour leaving for Victoria. King George VI and the Queen sailed from Vancouver to Victoria aboard the Princess Marguerite. A seaman on duty on the bridge took the picture although crew members were not to have cameras and the Queen graciously posed for the picture. The picture became quite famous in 1939 and was used in various publications commemorating the royal visit.
