History

Rolland Firmin Lefebvre was born in Morinville, Alberta in 1920. After his marriage to Florence Pitre in 1941, he apprenticed with Alexander Ewen, a Scottish watchmaker, receiving his certificate five years later. He branched out on his own in Edmonton in 1954 and in 1961, and established his business in the Grandin Shopping Mall in St. Albert in 1962. The store offered watch and jewellery repair, repairs to clocks, shavers and lighters and also sold gift wares, jewellery, watches, trophies, etc. Many members of the family of four children helped in the store until 1973. Rolland died in 1982.
