Custodial history
This drawing was used by the Town of St. Albert in 1976-1977 (and perhaps in subsequent years) in order to construct services in the central business district of Town.
Scope and content
This artifact is a Town of St. Albert map on translucent plastic, indicating a plan for the construction of road extensions. It was drawn by The Grimble Consulting Group of Edmonton in December of 1976. The drawing has some revisions on it and has been stamped as built and signed (11.2.77). The original title block indicates that these are drainage details for the Grandin Road Estension; however, someone has crossed out Grandin and written in St. Anne. The drawing has survey references, sewer lines, and notes that say abandonded beside some parts of the drawing. The naming of roads differs somewhat from the current scheme in St. Albert, as does the delineation of property lots.
